About
My name is Christie and I am a working mother of three young children. My oldest son, Andrew, is a first grader who is dealing with Dyslexia, and going through therapy to try to correct it. He is a very creative and determined kid who loves to draw, sing, and do Tae Kwon Do.
My middle son , Bryson, is much more shy than his older brother and he has a heart of pure gold. He’s enjoying his first year of preschool and loves to also do Tae Kwon Do, build things, create wonderful stories, and be creative.
The boys are both very protective of their younger sister who’s the princess of our family and her mother’s shadow. She is a diva in training, already developing a healthy love for clothes, shoes, and purses. I also have recently been blessed with a new step-daughter, having just remarried only two short months ago. Montanah lives with her mother and we enjoy all the time that we get to see her when she can take time away from her busy preschool schedule.
As you can tell I have a busy family life that I work very hard to balance with a very busy work schedule. There are very few parenting issues that I have not faced and dealt with first hand. I have had simple pregnancies and difficult ones. I have been a married mom and a single one. I have struggled with my children, I have laughed with them, and I have cried with them.
I am a devoted mother to my children, determined to make their lives the best that I can. I hope to raise them to independent, successful individuals who can find something that are gifted at and be luck enough to make a life doing it. I am excited to help launch this wonderful new resource for mothers everywhere, because as mother’s let’s face it… we need all the help that we can get.
I will be sharing with you ideas on everything from pregnancy to potty training, I have tried many methods on everything and I am happy to share my experiences in hope that it will make your daily mothering tasks a little simpler.
My vast parenting experiences have also helped me in my professional career. I served as the Marketing director for a Babies R Us in Kansas City, MO. I loved this job because it involved planning programs to help educate mothers on a variety of topics. I was also able to do seminars on baby products and new parent education, I have a great deal of knowledge in this area and am looking forward to sharing it with all of you.
I welcome any comments that you have on any of the posts that will come in the future, I believe that discussion will only enrich the information for each of us, so don’t be afraid to get involved.
