Scrapbooking is a popular hobby these days. People are enjoying finding unique and creative ways to preserve pictures, stories, and other memorabilia for years to come. The hobby is particularly popular with mothers trying to save the memories of their children’s milestones.
It seems that a hobby as popular as this one is a natural choice for many crafty mothers as the theme of their baby showers. Interested in finding out how to plan scrapbooking baby showers? Check out these ideas…
♦ Start by creating your own unique invitations to the shower. You can make these yourself with scrapbooking elements, stickers, and embellishments to set the tone for the shower.
♦ In the invitation with traditional date and time information also include an explanation of what you need your guests to do for the mommy to be. Ask them to make a layout for a scrapbook for the new baby. They should have the paper, stickers, letters, embellishments, and everything in place on the layout so all the mother has to do is place the pictures on it and journal.
♦ You may also want to ask that they include a small scrapbooking gift with each of their baby gifts like stickers, pens, scissors, eyelets, stamps, ink pads, or paper.
♦ At the party guests can bring their supplies for the layout they chose. Guests can gather around a table and put their blank pages together and let the new mother put them all in her scrapbook. She will appreciate having some unique layouts made by her friends and family so that she will be able to save time scrapbooking the early days of her baby’s life when she won’t have much free time.
